Tip: Sitecore Launchpad external link

Create an external link to Sitecore Send on the Sitecore Launchpad.

With the movement towards composable DXP, MACH Architecture, Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS and Headless. You may feel the need to make it easy for editors by offering external services to others in the Sitecore launch pad button. Similar to the Commerce Business Tools and more or less than the Horizon button, a link open in a new browser tab should fit better for Sitecore Send.

Create an external link on the Sitecore Launchpad is easy, just go to the core database and add a button below /sitecore/client/Applications/Launchpad/PageSettings/Buttons/ put the url in Link Field and check OpenNewTab and choice a nice icon.
